Hiya, my name is Emma! I’m fundraising to be able to attend the World Scout Jamboree in Korea 2023! I am an Explorer Scout and Young Leader with Cubs from Falkirk District. I am a high school students and currently working towards my National 5s. I also am completing my silver DofE. This trip would benefit me as I explore different cultures, learn important skills, gain vital experience while also having a memorable and life changing experience. Not only would I benefit but I will bring back cultures, stories, skills and talents to share with my local community and younger scouting groups. Up until the trip in August 2023 I shall be partaking in a variety of fundraising activities to help raise these funds. Funds raised will be used towards paying the balance of £3945 which pays for everything in the trip including kit, food, flights and accommodation, also the cost of insurance and another international camp, Blair Atholl Jamborette. I’m really excited to being given this opportunity and really glad I get to share it with so many others.
